Mid Mtns Makers Market

Calling local makers! Come and join us with a stall at our Mid Mtns Makers Market, located inside RoseyRavelston Books!

Every Sunday 11am - 3pm, we’ll host a small group of local mid-mountains makers selling their handmade products. We'll have the bookshop open, the coffee machine running and delicious treats baking. The market will be inside the previous co-op space, so will go ahead rain or shine. Hoping to get some live music too – local muso’s get in touch!

Where: Inside RoseyRavelston Books, Lawson
When: Sunday 11am - 3pm every week, starting 24th March 2024
Who: any locals who make! Jewellery, artists, knitters, bakers, candlestick makers etc. If you're from outside the mountains, get in contact with us and we can chat
Cost: $30 per weekly stall, approx. 1.5 metre table space. No marquee needed! Bring a table if you have one or we can provide one for you :)

Q: What if I want a regular stall?
A: Great! You can book in advance to reserve your place. Spaces are limited so it will be first in, first served

Q: Do I need to come regularly?
A: No, you can have a stall once, every week, or whenever suits you

Q: What if it rains?
A: It will be inside the previous co-op space, so will go ahead rain or shine

Q: How many stalls will there be?
A: We’re aiming for around 6 stalls at this stage

Q: I’m a grower, not a maker, can I have a stall?
A: We’re also running a weekly Growers Market for local growers in the same space on Thursday from 3pm to 6pm

Q: How will it be promoted?
A: We encourage you and the other stall holders to promote it and we’ll also advertise on local social media pages, The Gazette newspaper as well as our weekly newsletter - with a rundown of who is coming each week and tagging your business

Q: What if I need more space for my stall?
A: Talk to us and we can try to make it work!
